November 2008 My boyfriend and I just bought our first home with the guidance and assistance of Alain Pinel agent Aimee Klarich. Buying your first house is a very scary proposition. On a scale of one to ten, I’d rate her a twelve! In all respects she exceeded our expectations. We met Aimee at an open house when we were exploring neighborhoods in San Mateo. The house she was showing wasn’t what we were looking for, but we were impressed by her willingness to work with us to find the house that we really wanted.
We were planning to relocate from San Francisco to San Mateo. It isn’t that far away, but despite living in San Francisco for nearly 20 years our knowledge of San Mateo was surprisingly inadequate. Aimee had charts of information that allowed us to evaluate the various neighborhoods and the prices of comparable houses. She even had mortgage calculators so we could establish our price range. On our first trip with Aimee, she showed us three different types of houses to get our reaction and calibrate our tastes. After that one trip, she had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for. Once we found the house we wanted, she tirelessly guided us through the whole process. She helped us to avoid time crunches by talking to financial institutions and filling out forms in advance. Once we started the process of offer and purchase, she kept us on track with regular email updates of deadlines and reminders of what we needed to do.
She really worked hard to make our home-buying adventure a success the first time. I can’t wait to buy another house so we can work with Aimee again!

October 2008 I would rate Aimee's overall performance as a 10. I was a first time buyer and I did not have a great understanding of how real estate worked and Aimee took me through step by step and made me feel so comfortable and confident. It was exciting to be well informed in an environment that was new to me.
